Aleksi Toivonen (5-1) is back on the winning track. The 25 year old suffered his first loss versus Oleg Lichkovaka (4-1) at CAGE 39 in Helsinki, but tonight at CAGE 40 got back to his winning ways.
“I made some critical errors in my last fight, but one day when i’ll be fighting for the world title, no one will remember this.” says the Lahden Gentai fighter to MMAViking.com before the fight, but there were no mistakes tonight versus Oleg Mykhayliv (7-7) out of the Ukraine.
The Giant now has a 5 win and 1 loss record, with all five wins coming by submission. Tonight it was a rear-naked choke in the first round.
