Aleksi Toivonen (3-0) will return at Cage 37 going down November 26th at Kulttuuritalo in Helsinki. This time the undefeated Finn will meet 20 year old Vilson Junior our of Brazil. “It’s nice to get an opponent to test my skills against. He’s a clear step up in competition for me and i’m exited to get back in the cage.” says the Primus fighter to MMAViking.com.
Toivonen turned pro in October of 2015 and has won all three of his matches by submission. “It’s great to fight for CAGE, since its the premier organization in Finland, maybe even in the northern Europe.” says the fighter who was last in the cage in May at Cage 35.
“Only shame is that he has to come all the way up to the cold north… to lose. 😊” says the confident grappler that faces the Brazilian with four finishes in his five wins.
“We should have done this in Brazil so no Brazilian freezes to death during fightweek 😂”
