Wanderlei Silva recently Tweeted that he is interested in Saturday’s bout against Gegard Mousasi if Alexander Gustafsson’s cut prohibits him from fighting. Mousasi has already responded, and would accept the late-notice challenge. See the Twitter exchange.

Silva commented the situation also to MMA Weekly via text message: “Just finish talk to Rafael Cordeiro. He gonna come tomorrow to Vegas. I take the fight.”
There has been no official comment from the UFC regarding this bout, or any official decision regarding Gustafsson’s participation this Saturday on the card taking place in Stockholm.
