Former WEC champion Chase “the Rage” Beebe (24-10) is now booked for another trip to Finland. According to our partner site FightSport.fi the American will meet Finnish brawler Joni Salovaara in a featherweight showdown at Fight Festival 33 in October.
Earlier this year Beebe fought in Finland at the Cage event where he put on a good fight against top talent Tom “Stoneface” Niinimäki but in the end lost by decision.
Salovaara’s last fight was in Cage Warriors where he challenged American prospect Jim Alers for the promotion’s featherweight belt. The Finn fought with a lot of heart against the tough Alers but was eventually submitted in the fourth round.
Beebe is second American fighter now on the FF 33 card. Earlier we broke the news that Logan Clark will meet Finnzillian Lucio Linhares in a bout that will be Linhares’ last fight before hanging the gloves for good.
