One of the most anticipated Nordic bouts of the year took place at Cage 32 when two top welterweights Emil Meek and Kai Puolakka stepped into the Cage. The bout started with both guys looking to secure dominance on the first round, Meek dropped Puolakka on the first round but couldn’t finish the tough Finn. Second round went to Puolakka’s favour so it was the classic 1-1 situation going to the third round. Puolakka might have edged the round to his favour until Meek landed some nasty elbows and locked in a front choke that ended the bout.
