Maiju Suotama returned to Pro MMA after a six year layoff. She has been active in competing in grappling and BJJ tournaments. Her return bout was not an easy one on paper as her opponent Hatice Ozyurt is a world champion in kickboxing and muay thai. Suotama made quick work of her opponent as she secured an takedown early and continued to reign down punches from the mount. Ozyurt was forced to give her back to Suotama, who quickly sunk in an RNC at Carelia Fight 13.
