Tonight he faced Ondrej Skalnik from Czech Republic in a match that to no ones surprise ended up being a grappling contest between the two. Neither one finalized submissions, but both had multiple close attempts. This was the first time Hämäläinen had ever fought full fifteen minutes, eventually he was declared the winner via split decision.
