Christian Colombo (8-2-1) faces late-replacement Marcelo Golm (4-0) on the UFC Fight Night 119 card in Sao Paulo, Brazil today.  “It’s been a good fight camp with a lot of wrestling and boxing.  I am back at my old fight gym with CSA.dk.” says “Godzilla” just a day before the big event.

After a draw with Jarjis Danho in his debut in September of 2016, the heavyweight lost to Brazilian Luis Henrique de Oliveira last November.  The Dane sees the upcoming bout as a “do or die” situation.

“I am going to punch him a lot, and he is going to quit” Colombo

“I’m back after a 10 month fight camp” says the heavyweight that was set to be on the UFC Sweden card and the Fox 25 card, but injuries prevented those bouts from happening.

Golm is 25 years old and fights out of Corinthians MMA.  The Brazilian has stopped all four of his opponents by KO/TKO in the first round, most recently in July with an 18 second KO.  This will be his UFC debut after fighting on local shows in Brazil.

“He is good on the ground.  I have been looking at counter wrestling.  My boxing is getting better, and I am in better shape than ever.”

The card is headlined by former champion Lyoto Machida taking on Derek Brunson, and in the Nordics you can watch all the action on Viaplay.
