“Co-headlining and making my US debut is great. Couldn’t ask for a better way to introduce myself to the US fans.” says Swede Nico Musoke to MMAViking.com just days before his third UFC bout Saturday night at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.

“Texas is treating us very well. Welcomed us with great weather and another level of humidity, haha.” says the fighter from Botkyrka, Sweden that left to the USA last Saturday to get used to the time difference and acclimate to the weather. “Have been exploring downtown San Antonio and have gotten a nice feel for the city. Glad to be here!”

Musoke has put together an impressive 12 win, 2 loss, and 1 N/C record and steps up to fight Kelvin Gastelum (8 wins and 0 losses) who garnered attention when he won the TUF season 17 by beating the much hyped striker Uriah Hall. The Swede’s previous fights have seen him notch a win in England against Alessio Sakara and in Brazil to dispatch Viscardi Andrade. Saturday will be Musoke’s first bout in the USA and gives him a chance to run his Octagon record to three wins and no losses.
