Emil Weber Meek (7-2-1-1) has booked his next bout, and it is a big one at Contenders 14 in the UK, as he faces veteran Matt Inman (17-7).  The high quality matchup will go down Saturday, February 27 at the Norfolk Showground Arena.  “Dangerous fighter” says Meek to MMAViking.com about the matchup with the SBG Mainline veteran.  “He has finished 15 out of his 17 wins.”

Meek has put together a solid two fight winning streak.  Starting with a submission over Kai Puolakka at Cage 32 in October, then a TKO over Christophe Van Dljck at Battle of Botnia in November.  “Valhalla” will be training full time at Frontline MMA for this upcoming bout, and hopes to gain back his reputation as a top European prospect in the welterweight division as he looks for his third straight.

Inman is no stranger to those following the European MMA scene, with seven Cage Warriors fights under his belt.  He turned pro in 2008, and won his first eight out of nine fights.  Dangerous from everywhere, the UK fighter has 8 KO/TKO’s and 7 submissions to his name.  He is also on a four fight winning streak, which he earned with a perfect 2015.

Meek will also be facing a fighter that has beaten his training partner and now coach at Frontline MMA in Mohsen Bahari. Inman won by heel hook in just 44 seconds back in 2013 at CWFC 57. “I will revenge Mohsen ;)))” says Meek about the opportunity.
