StandUpWar promotion, that is based in Tampere, Finland, has announced the fight card for it’s second event called “StandUpWar 2 – This is Tampere!”. The show will go down on the 31th of March at the Hervanta Event Center in Tampere. The card features both pro and amateur MMA fights but also kickboxing bouts in the cage. Kickboxing fights are fought under special StandUpWar-rules that are close to what K-1 uses: striking with all four limbs, elbows and knees with very limited clinching.

Bellator signee Marcus Vänttinen’s little brother Johan Vänttinen (6-2) fights against Lithuanian Ernestas Slavickas (3-3). Vänttinen has improved a ton in a short time and has racked up impressive wins in his last three fights.

ADCC veteran Timo-Juhani “Tipi” Hirvikangas (3-1) is keeping himself busy and working up the ladder. Hirvikangas won his last fight at Cage 18 in a minute by a slick heelhook. This time Hirvikangas is matched up against Pancrase Gym’s Martin Founda Afana Bipouna (1-1).

*UPDATE* GB Gym’s top prospect Musa Amagov meets the Lithuanian replacement Dainius Almokas from the Knight of Pludge gym in a bout that is now set in the welterweight division.
