Glenn Sparv (17-4) will head to Perth to fight for the Australian Fighting Championship (AFC) belt on March 17.  “Teddy Bear” will face Stu Dare (8-5) for the middleweight title fight.

The Finn headlined the RFC: Way of The Dragon Taiwan card on February 3rd at the Taipei Arena in Taiwan, where Sparv beat late replacement Jun Yong Park in a light heavyweight bout.  The most recent was his fifth straight win.

Dare is out of Australia and did have a three fight winning streak before suffering a first round headkick loss last November.  He has a 8 win and 5 loss record, and has fought quality competition including Jake Mathews that won on the UFC card over the weekend.

Sparv turned pro in 2010 and has won his last 10 of 11 bouts.  The fighter out of Vaasa, Finland now trains out of Tiger Muay Thai & MMA in Phuket, Thailand.
