Swede Diego Gonzalez is taking on his second opponent –his first was a decision loss to Andre Winner at Bamma 8 – since his drop to lightweight.  Today he just missed the 156lbs limit, and weighed in at 156.5lbs, while his opponent Ivica “Terror” Truscek from Croatia hit the mark at 155.1lbs for the Cage Warriors 46 card.  Officials from Cage Warriors reported that Gonzalez “won’t cut any more weight but Ivica Truscek has agreed to the bout, with Gonzalez deducted 25% of his purse”.

Weigh-ins took place today in Kiev, Ukraine. Thursday’s event is headlined by Andreas Kraniotakes (240lbs) v Dmitry Poberezhets (236.9lbs), who both easily made the heavyweight limit. The long-time welterweight Gonzalez’s bout is a co-headliner and will stream live on MMAjunkie.com beginning at 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT / 20:00 Stockholm / 21:00 Helsinki.
