magnus cedenblad
Magnus Cedenblad has been training on and recovering from the rib injury that put him out of his fight with Italian Alessio Sakara. At Allstars gym the caliber of the athletes have been through the roof with fighters like Alexander Gustafsson, Tor Troéng, Andreas Ståhl, Reza Madadi, Niklas Bäckström, Ilir and Arben Latifi and Nico Musoke on site and in action.

In the new episode of My Life as Jycken Magnus tells us the stories of his first professional fights in Finland some years ago now. At that time the very inexperienced Jycken had a rough start to his MMA career suffering two losses by stoppage to the hands of Jevgeni Smirnov and Juha “Juice” Saarinen. Listen to Cedenblads story of his introduction to the Nordic pro circuit in the video below.

“We were fearless at that time, because we didn’t know anything. We didn’t know how good you could be. We trained in our cellar and thought of having fights as, “like sparring but a little harder”. I didn’t cut weight and was eating at McDonalds before the Weigh Ins at my first professional fight”
