Magnus Cedenblad is now out of his bout with Alessio Sakara, which was scheduled to take place at UFC Fight Night 30 later this month in England.  Jycken himself was a late replacement for Tom Watson who was forced out of the middleweight fight last month. An injury will keep Cedenblad sidelined, and unable to take the short notice fight.

Cedenblad was on a roll, making his long lay-off return an impressive one by stopping veteran Jared Hamman at UFC 164 in Milwaukee in August at UFC 164. The Swede evened his UFC record to 1 win and 1 loss, after losing his Octagon debut back in 2012 at the first UFC in Sweden.

“I have asked the UFC to give me Alessio Sakara in Sweden next year.” posts Cedenblad on Facebook.

With the middleweight off the card, there will not be any Nordic fighters on the European card, which will be headlined by Lyoto Machida versus Mark Munoz.
