Zebaztian “The Bandit” Kadestam successfully defended his ONE Welterweight World Title last night against Kazakhstan’s Georgiy “Knight” Kichigin at the Thuwunna Indoor Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar.
The Swede ended the 14-bout wining streak of his opponent, as he was not willing to come out to fight in the 3rd round.

The Kazakh did get a take-down early and controlled the bout on the mat to start, but the Pancrase MMA fighter began to take control from the outside once on the feet, landing a big elbow. He used kicks to damage the challenger in an impressive performance.

“It’s International Women’s Day, so thank you to all the strong women out there.” said the Swede.

The Bandit has now won his last 3 fights with his loss prior being to recent UFC winner Ben Askren.
