With four wins in 2010, and riding a five fight winning streek overall, Cedenblad is looking for more than just this one fight this year.  Cedenblad says he “will hopefully have 5 fights this year, all against top ranked fighters.”  This would be a very busy schedule, who is already a popular Swedish veteran while fighting on 5 of the 6 Superior Challenge cards.  While dates and match-ups for upcoming Superior Challenge events have not been announced, you can always count on seeing this familiar face at the promotion.

The popular fighter, built on his local celebrity with a recent trip to Las Vegas to tryout for The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 13 –visit MMAnytte.se for hilarious videos (mostly in Swedish) of his adventures in the US, titled “Jycken in Vegas”.  Although the UFC invited both welterweights and middleweights for the tryouts, the organization ultimately decided that welterweights wil be participating, leaving Cedenblad and all the other middleweights on hold for at least another season.  “Of course I would have loved to be on the show, but thats part of life. Im just focusing on my training and training to get better!”, says Cedenblad.

MMA Viking and “Jycken” (which roughly translates to “pooch” in English) fans look forward to further success in 2011 from another great Scandinavian fighter!
