Makwan Amirkhani (12-2) is back, and now has a fight at UFC Fight Night London on February 27th. Mr. Finland will take on Mike Wilkinson (9-1), who is known to Nordic MMA fans for the KO over Sweden’s Niklas Backstrom last October at UFC FN 53 in Stockholm. The UFC announced the bout today.

Amirkani made a big bang with his debut fight in the UFC, against Andy Ogle where he won in spectacular fashion with a 8 second flying knee TKO in the first round earning him a $50,000 bonus. The buzz around the 27 year old Finn didn’t stop there for he went on to submit Masio Fullen with a rear naked choke also in the first round.
The Finn has been calling out Wilkinson, wanting revenge for his former teammate. Mr. Finland recently announced that he has decided to leave the Allstars Training Center in Stockholm.
Wilkinson is 28 years old and trains out of Ahterton Submission Wrestling. The featherweight will be out of the Octagon for 18 months when he returns for the fight in the UK.
