The UFC’s addition of a women’s division and the Strikeforce roster has forced cuts from the UFC Roster, including Simeon Thoresen.
The “Grin” recently lost to David Mitchell at UFC on Fox 6 in January, and before this bout was KO’d by Seth Baczynski at UFC 152 in September. Thoresen did however notch the first win in the Octagon for his home country of Norway with a submission over Besam Yousef at UFC in Sweden last year. Overall, the 28 year old from Frontline Academy is 17 wins and 4 losses.
