Pannie Kianzad (8-3) will return at Invicta Fighting Championships 29 at the historic Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City on Friday, May 4. “Banzai” takes on bantamweight Bianca “Bibi” Daimoni (7-2) in the co-headliner. “I didn’t wanna sit out to long especially after the Kaufman fight.” says Kianzad to MMA Viking.

“I was happy with my performance against such a good fighter and I believe my experience and skills will give me this W in May”

The Arte Suave fighter will look to snap a three fight losing streak that started with her title fight at Invicta 14 against Tonya Evinger.  She lost to Hawaiin native Raquel Pa’Aluhi (6-6-0) and then Strikeforce champ Sarah Kaufman (18-4-0, 1 NC) in her last fight at Invicta FC 27 in January.

It will be a busy time for Pannie that has also signed on for the Danish MMA Night event. The Sweden raised fighter fights locally out of Copenhagen’s Arte Suave and with a win at Invicta and in Denmark could get her closer to another nice winning streak –she started her career with 8 wins. The June 9 event at the Brøndby Hallen will be her MMA debut in Denmark. “I feel great about it.”

“She never fought the girls I have and I will gladly welcome her to Invicta”

Daimoni is out of Brazil and fights out of SIAM Team MMA College. It will be her first fight out of Brazil. She has won four out of five of her last bouts. It will be her Invicta debut.
