Soren Bak (7-1) will face Scott Clist (11-3) at Cage Warriors 83 going down in Newport, Wales on May 6. The “True Viking” will be on the main card in his promotional debut versus “The Priest” in the newly announced matchup.

“I’m aching to get back in there” says Bak that has been waiting to erase the memory of his last bout with Finn Aleksi Mantykivi, where he suffered his first loss last October. “This is not a lesson taking lightly,” said the CSA.dk fighter about the shocking first round stoppage.

“I’m looking to challenge myself against tough opponents on a big stage.” says the Dane about his jump to the leading European promotion.

Clist turned pro in 2011 and won his first five bouts. He was on a two fight winning streak in Cage Warriors, before getting submitted against the now retired Swede Martin Svensson back in October.

Bak won his first seven bouts of his career, stopping all except Aleksi Nurminen.  Since turning pro in 2012, the 24-year-old lightweight has an overall record of seven wins and one loss.
