The First Swede in UFC
Per was the first Swede to fight in the UFC. He first fought Sam Stout in January, 2008 at UFC 80. This first fight was a decision loss. Sam then came back strong at UFC 89 with a submission victory in the 3rd round against Samy Schiavo. He fought very aggressive, landing some huge shots before securing a rear naked choke. His lost his last fought in the UFC against young prospect Evan Dunham. Evan came out aggressive, but lost in this UFC 95 event. I haven’t heard of the release, but he isn’t scheduled on any upcoming fights.
