Timo-Juhani Hirvikangas has signed with Mano Managment, now making his goal of getting into the UFC a matter of timing. The Finn brings an impressive 10 win and 2 loss record and for several years has been seen as a top Nordic bantamweight. “We are really happy to have agreed terms with Finland’s Timo-Juhani “Tipi” Hirvikangas, a fighter we have been following for a while.” announces the leading Swedish management company on Facebook today.

Hirvikangas Celebrates Victory

Mano Management recently signed and got a UFC fight for teammate Teemu Packalén, and looks to do the same with Tipi. Both fighters work with Primus Fight team, who seem to have aligned with the management company to get better access to the Octagon.

“We are sure he is not only UFC material in the near future, but has the potential of becoming one of the best in his 135 pound division.” says Mano Management.

Hirvikangas is known for his submission and grappling skills, but has recently ventured into boxing in order to improve his standup skills. The 31 year old is currently on a 5 fight winning streak, and last fought at Cage 27 in November.

No fight announcement has been made, but stay tuned.
