Mohsen Bahari (5-0), Welterweight, Norway

Bahari is a 28 year old protege of Norwegian MMA legend Joachim “Hellboy” Hansen. Bahari has fought pro since 2010 and showed constant improvement in all of his fights. In 2011 Bahari scored a 40 second TKO win over experienced Brit Lee Barnes at BAMMA 5. In 2012 Bahari fought just once in Cage Warriors Fight Night 7 where he won a decision over Poland’s Piotr Ptasinski after a exciting three round war.

Bahari’s strongest weapon is his technically sound striking that he is able to use thanks to his tight takedown defense. The Norwegian is still a work in progress but he has has already proved that he is a talented athlete with a solid skills in all areas of MMA. UFC’s welterweight division is ultra competitive at the moment. That could mean that Bahari needs to rack up few more wins before the call from the big boss comes.
