Finn Timo-Juhani Hirvikangas (9 wins, 2 losses) recently sat down with MMAViking.com to talk about his recent camp in Florida with the Blackzilians. The Nordic’s top ranked bantamweight was in Berlin to corner teammate Tom Niinimaki for his UFC FN bout in Berlin. “I get more nervous about his fights than my own” says Tipi about his training partner of 8 years.

“I didn’t do any leglocks… I left them back in Finland” jokes the grappling specialist, that made sure his deadly finishing ability in the cage didn’t hamper any of his training partners stateside. The Finn talks about his improved kicks after tips from coach Henri Hooft and now looks at the possibility of him getting to show his new skills in the UFC. “Now I’m outside the Octagon cage now, but maybe inside the cage soon” says Hirvikangas as he looks to get back in action soon and take a step closer to a possible shot in the UFC.
