Cage 35 will go down on May 13th at the Culture House in Helsinki and today it got its headliner matchup as Finn Anton Kuivanen (23-9) takes on Brazilian Felipe Silva (6-0).
Kuivanen is in the small club of Nordic fighters that have won bouts in the UFC. The 31 year old fighter looks to start another run toward the Octagon with another high profile bout. He ran up three straight wins at Cage 29, 30, and 31 before a disappointing KO at Cage 33. The GB Gym fighter has recently traveled to Brazil for some sun and training.
Silva comes out of CM Systems and is also 31 years old. He turned pro in 2013 and in his six pro MMA bouts, he has finished five of them, four by TKO/KO and one by submission. This will be his first trip to Europe.
There will be seven pro bouts on the card, and the fighters will include Rafael Domingos, Joni Salovaara, Mika Hämäläinen, Jussi Halonen, Suvi Salmimies, and Aleksi Toivonen.
