Sweden based lightweight Arman Popal (5-3) lost to Akhmed Shervaniev (15-1-1) from Russia at BRAVE CF 43 in Bahrain. It was a second round stoppage.
Arman, who currently trains at Järfälla Kampsport Klubb and All Stars Training Center, took the high profile bout in his first apprearance in the BRAVE CF cage. Arman’s 2-fight winning streak was stopped, and now his opponent moves to a 3-fight winning streak.
It was a close first round, but a left hand to the right of Popal changed the fight quickly, leading to a TKO for the Russian as the referee jumped in.
