Finnish fighter Juho Valamaa (15-4) will face Shavkat Rakhmonov (7-0) at M-1 Challenge 87 on February 9th. The event will go down at the M-1 Arena in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The Finnfighters’ Gym fighter is on a role and improved his record to an impressive 9-1 in his last 10 fights with 6 by stoppage.

He will return to M-1 after his M-1 Challenge 82 bout in August, where he brutally KO’d Portuguese fighter Aires Benrois (10-6) inHelsinki, Finland, tonight.

Rakhmonov is a sambo fighter out of Kazakhstan with a ton of hype. The welterweight has 7 wins and 0 losses and has stopped all his opponents with no fight going to the third round. He was set for a title shot, but injury in 2016 prevented the bout from happening.

Valamaa will join Finn Mikael Silander (17-5) on the card who will be getting his M-1 interim title shot.
