The Nordic MMA Fight of 2013 and regarded as the best light heavyweight bout in UFC history was between Alexander Gustafsson and Jon Jones at UFC 165.  It was a bout that captured the attention of mainstream sports media and put “The Mauler” on the map. The first Nordic fighter to challenge for the UFC belt turned out to be one of the most memorable five round wars ever.   Recently, even the UFC acknowledged the greatness of the fight by ranking it #2 best fight, only behind the TUF Finale between Forrest Griffin versus Stephan Bonnar in the 20 years of the UFC’s existence.
