David Michel Häggström made weight today, along with the rest of the fighters, for the Vision 3 ‘Uprising’ card. The event takes place, Saturday, April 28th, at Glasgow’s Kelvin Hall Sports Arena.

DAVID HAGGSTROM

Häggström brings with him a 5-1-1 record, and is coming off of an impressive TKO over Greg Knapp at Battle of Botnia 4 last September. The young Swede will take on the popular local fighter James Doolan for the Vision Bantamweight title. Doolan has a 16 win and 7 loss record, and is coming off of a win against Dino Gambatesa, who has already handed Häggström his only loss.

Häggström is coached by Tor Troéng, and hails out of Renyi Fightcamp. Doolan will have the crowd on his side, as he fights out of Dinky Ninja, the local camp in Scotland. The SCF title bout is set for 5 rounds.

Häggström is the only Nordic fighter on the card, and looks to silence the crowd by defeating the local Doolan. Swedish fighters had success at the last SCF event, where Martin Svensson captured the Featherweight Title and Jonatan Westin won the Welterweight Title in the co-headliners.
