Diego Gonzalez (16-10) will return to the Superior Challenge cage as he faces another veteran in Karim Mammar (9-10-1).  The Swedish based fighter that has had a run at lightweight will meet the Frenchman at middleweight for the bout.  The promotion announced the matchup, along with two others, for the upcoming November 29th card at  Södertälje’s AXA Sports Center.

Additional matchups include, Michael Yayo from Södertälje will face Swiss fighter Faissal Harrar. This bout is Yayo’s pro MMA debut, however Faissal has already two pro MMA wins with no losses in his short lightweight career.   Abbe Joof will bring his 2 win and 0 loss record back to Superior Challenge, this time against Belgium’s Mohammed Sayah (3-2).

The Södertälje resident Yayo is a tough striker keen to finish his fights quickly and Harrar is more of an all round fighter who waits for the right moment to explode. The Thai boxer Joofwho comes from an impressive win is now matched against his toughest opponent to date, theincredible physical wrestler Sayah, who wants to grind down his opponents in close distance.  Our talented grappler from Botkyrka Gonzalez, goes up another weight class in order to face the striker Mammar. Gonzalez turned around a 4 fight losing streak at Superior Challenge 10, where he stopped Frodi Vitalis Hansen in May.  The 30 year old goes way back with Superior, starring on the Superior Challenge 1 back in 2008.
