Khamzat Chimaev (7-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) takes no breaks and is ready to fight this Saturday against Rhys McKee (10-2-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) in the final UFC event at Fight Island. It is worth noting that Khamzat has finished all of his 7 opponents, with 4 of them being in the 1st round. Last Thursday, Chimaev submitted his opponent, John Phillips (22-10, 1NC MMA, 1-4 UFC) in the 2nd round via the D’Arce choke. If Khamzat wins this Saturday, he will set a record for the least amount of days (10) between back-to-back wins.

The clash of the Heavyweights is on! Alexander Gustafsson (18-6 MMA, 10-6 UFC) looked great at 240 lbs on the scale. After coming back out of retirement, the UFC Veteran Gustafsson is making a heavyweight debut. This Saturday, Alexander Gustafsson faces the former Heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum (23-9-1 MMA, 17-6 UFC) whichweighted in just two pounds heavier than Gustafsson. “The Mauler” is “here to stay,” he told reporters on Tuesday at UFC on ESPN 14 media day, eyeing to put more wins onto his resume. Meanwhile, his opponent Fabricio Werdum is certain that he is “done with UFC”.

Nicolas “Lokomotivo” Dalby (18-3-1 MMA, 2-2-1 UFC) is now ready for his welterweight bout against Jesse Ronson. Previously, Nicolas has shown a solid performance against the current headliner Darren Till, however the fight has resulted in a draw. After suffering two more losses from Zak Cummings and Peter Sobotta, Nicolas was cut from the UFC. However, in September of 2019 he made a UFC comeback and managed to get an Unanimous Decision Win against Alex “Cowboy” Oliviera. Dalby will now try and stop Jesse Ronson, who has stepped in as a replacement for Danny Roberts.

Pannie “Banzai” Kianzad (13-5-0 MMA, 2-1 UFC) is now official for her bout and the Swedish Bantamweight is facing #13 ranked Bethe Correia. Kianzad has started her journey in the Ultimate Fighter series, where she fought Macy Chiasson as a Featherweight. After a successful bout outside of the organization, Pannie was signed officially to the UFC where she had two more bouts in the Bantamweight division. Kianzad has a chance to beat Bethe Correia in order to break into the Top 15 and climb the Bantamweight rankings. It is worth mentioning that this bout was supposed to happen earlier UFC 250. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, UFC was forced to move the event to UFC Apex and the bout was cancelled.
