Swede Andreas Spång and Dane Mikkel Parlo will both be on February 14th’s Bellator 89 card.  The two Nordic fighters are on the same side of the draw in the organization’s Season 8 lightweight tournament, and could clash in the semi-finals.  The event is in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Andreas Spång, who now resides in Las Vegas, upset Brian Rogers in the Season 6 tournament sending him to the finals against Maiquel Falcao. Spång scored the Nordic KO of the year with the punch that sent the respected Rogers to the mat. The Swede eventually lost to Falcoa in a decision in the finals.

Spång has a tough test, being matched up against WEC light-heavyweight champion Doug Marshall who scored a 22-second KO over Kala Hose in his promotional debut at Bellator 82.
