Injuries have forced Lappeenranta based Fight Night promotion to make changes to it’s upcoming show on the 14th of April.
Finnish welterweight Lauri Tonteri is now matched up with hilti Stockholm’s Fernando Gonzales. The cousin of Hilti star Diego Gonzales is a BJJ purple belt and will make his pro debut in Lappeenranta.
Another change to the card is Serob Minasyan stepping up to face Finland’s Tommi Marttinen in a featherweight bout. Minasyan, who represent’s famed Team RusFighters, has fought and lost once before in Lappeenranta but now Minasyan drops to a more suiting weight class.
UPDATE: Also the much anticipated high level women’s bout between StrikeForce vet Maiju Kujala and Ukraine’s Lena Ovchynnikova has been scrapped from the card. Reasons behind this cancellation are unknown at the moment.
