Akira Corassani is up again for a bout in the Octagon. After going 2-0 in the 14th season of TUF with Team Bisping featherweight Corassani taking on Team Miller’s Dennis Bermudez.

The Fight
Corassani worked with Bisping on getting up from takedowns in order to get up off the ground if he got taken down by the wrestler.
Akira was strong in the opening minutes of the fight, landing a few big shots, even dropping Bermudez. Bermudez however was quick to recover, and after surviving several hard shots finally found a way to get the fight to the ground. “I tapped, then I passed out” says Corassani to the end of the fight, where the Swede ended up pinned against a cage in a choke that kept getting tighter and tighter. He was disappointed when he found out what happened after waking up from the tight guillotine that put an end to the Swede’s run on TUF at just over three minutes into round one.
