It appears that Swede Akira Corassani will make a quick return to Stockholm as he tells www.expressen.se that he will face American Sam Sicilia on January 24th at the Tele2 Arena. The co-headliner from the last UFC Stockholm card on October 4th, lost to Max Holloway, but will have an opportunity to get back on the winning track.

Corassani will come into the bout with a 12 win, 5 loss, and 1 draw record. He won his first three bouts in the Octagon, but has now lost two straight bouts. The first was against Dustin Poirier back in April. The product of GBG MMA has been living and training in New York for the last three years.

Sicilia has a 13 win and 5 loss record. The Washington State fighter lost his last bout to Katsunori Kikuno back in September, and has a 3 win and 4 loss record in the Octagon since debuting in 2012.

The featherweight bout will likely be on the preliminary card. He will join two other Sweden based fighters in headliner Alexander Gustafsson and Nico Musoke.
