Dana White announced that the UFC will be coming back to London on March 8, but the bigger news for Nordic MMA fans was their plans for the main event. The President continued to detail at the Fight Night post-fight press conference last night that “Little Nogueira and Gustafsson in London” is happening on the card.

“I’m really looking forward to it” says Gustafsson, who joined the press conference shortly after the announcement. The Swede says that he can’t wait for the match that was originally set for last year in Sweden, until the Brazilian pulled out due to an injury. Ultimately it was Thiago Silva that stepped in for the first time the UFC was in the Nordics.

While Gustafsson was speculated to fight American wrestler Daniel Cormier, the UFC has decided to pit The Mauler against the Brazilian. Nogueira has not fought since his win over Rashad Evans back in February. His record is 21 wins and 5 losses, and is on a two fight winning streak.

As for the much anticipated showdown between Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson for a rematch, it would happen if both of them would win their next matches. “It’s definite” says White.
