Earlier this week MMAViking.com reported that Cage 18 card had taken some hits in form of cancelled bouts due to injuries. The promotion has been working hard to find replacements and even putting on brand new fights to compensate the cancelled fights.

Musa Amagov, little brother of StrikeForce star Adlan Amagov, is one of the most promising fighters in Finland

A completely new fight on the card is hometown hero Makwan Amirkhani (3-1) versus Ivan Chernykh ( 5-1) of Lithunia. Amirkhani is skilled in grappling as is his Lithuanian opponent so a exciting ground war might be what the fans should be looking out of this bout.

GB Gym’s ultra promising welterweight prospect Musa Amagov (1-0) is back on the card after his original opponent cancelled.  Lithuanian Mindaugas Baranauskas (5-3) will step in and face Helsinki based Amagov who is riding a string of three brutal knock outs (two from ammy bouts) at the moment.

Cage promotion is negotiating with various parties to find a replacement for Paul Reed who had to withdrawn due to rib injury from the main event fight against Tom Niinimäki. MMAViking is paying close attention to the situation and will report if things progress.
