Swede Håkon Foss, fighting out of Frontline Academy in Norway, shocked the local crowd by stopping powerhouse Jussi Halonen Saturday night at CAGE 34. “My plan is to take control of the Nordic welterweight division. If anybody wants to scrap, I´m here.” says “Death” to MMAViking.com shortly after his co-headlining win.
“He fell right into my pocket; I like to strike.” says the fighter mostly known as a grappler.
“I was thinking he was going to go for the takedowns, so that´s the only thing I was expecting, but he didn´t, he went really aggressive.”
