This past wednesday the first installment of The Ultimate Viking Challenge was held. The Ultimate Viking Challenge is a video game tournament in the latest UFC game, UFC Undisputed 3. The participants were MMAVikings own Daniel “MrSpiderpigbegins” Schälander, Kimura.se and Lättvikt founder Paul “Balut” Del Valle, Professional MMA Fighter Michel “Bane” Ersoy and Professional MMA Fighter Niklas “Bear Slayer” Bäckström. In the first Viking Challenge we have an 8 man tournament in the PRIDE Middlewight weigh class and each participant was assigned two fighters to compete with.

The participants drew their fighter picks out of a hat and were as following:
