MMAViking.com caught up with Reza Madadi at the open house held at Allstars Training Center in Stockholm over the weekend, where the focus was on a potential showdown between Finland’s Anton Kuivanen.  While Mad Dog is known for his aggression toward future opponents, he had only nice things to say about Kuivanen.  “He’s a great guy…and a great person”.

“Hopefully soon” says the former UFC fighter that was dropped from the leading organisation after a sentencing against the Swede.  While Madadi is appealing the verdict, he is also seeking a bout against the Finnish lightweight in a matchup that would pit two of the best lightweights in the world outside of the Octagon. “It should be in Superior (Challenge)” says Madadi, due to the idea of matchmaker and VD Babak Aghavali to match the two originally after the Team MMA Finland fighter KO’d teammate Diego Gonzalez. The bout could also take place at Cage, where Kuivanen has also been fighting of late.

‘It’s going to be awesome to fight him’ says Madadi that is still waiting for the bout to be put together. Watch the video interview below.
