Nico Musoke (12 wins, 3 losses, 1 N/C) will step into the cage against Russian Alexander Yakovlev on October 4th at Globen in Stockholm. “It’s going to be epic” says the welterweight who will have his opportunity to fight in the Octagon just a few minutes from home after traveling the globe for his first three UFC bouts.

“I’ve been blessed to travel the world” says Nico about his 2 win and 1 loss record in the UFC that has taken him to the UK, Brazil, and most recently to the USA. The more experience fighter now says he is “used the buildup” of fights, and ready to get back to his winning ways after dropping a decision to Kelvin Gastelum in the co-headliner at UFC Fight Night in San Antonio in his last outing.

“You should always seek to raise the bar” says Musoke to MMAViking.com as he trains today at Rinkeby Muay Thai and brings the hard work of his camp to a close.  The Swede made a big splash on the MMA scene when he stepped up on last notice for a middleweight bout against the veteran Alessio Sakara, where Musoke won “Submission of the Night”.
