Norwegian Alexander Jacobsen (6-1) will make his Cage Warriors debut as the original opponent to Tim Wilde on the upcoming card on February 18 is injured. “I am really looking forward to this and finally after hard work over long time I get the chance to fight the biggest organization in Europe.” says “Bad Romance” to MMAViking.com about the Cage Warriors 80 card going down in London.

Jacobsen will be looking for his seventh straight win as he steps into the cage again. The lightweight out of Bergen MMA and Bergen Grappling hasn’t lost since his debut back in 2014, and most recently won against Dmitriy Shestakov capturing the European Title at the Freon promotion.

“To fight Tim Wilde 9-2 is a huge opportunity for me and to show my level and that I belong in the top. I have prepared very good for this, I was in pretty good shape from before.” says the Norwegian that takes the fight on short notice.

The 28 year old is hoping this is just the beginning of a run to the top. “I really hope this will be a door opener for me, to fight later this year for the CW title and also get into UFC. This is my dream, and I will show the hard work will pay of.”

“I have a very professional team and coaches in my back and so I feel better every day.” says Jacobson that has stopped all six of his recent opponents.

MMAViking.com will be cageside for the bout, so come back for live reporting and pictures.
