Thomas Jessing (3-2) lost by decision last Saturday to late replacement Ross Got (3-0) at the ON TOP Weekender card.  “He was tough man. Up-and-coming guy. Technically way better than Alan Johnston my original opponent. I even saw Johnston there he was out of shape and fat.”

The Artesuave welterweight was in his main event in a title fight for the first time. “Got a minor bruise on my lip that’s pretty much it. He won clearly by points.” says Jessing about his failed gameplan after a “great camp”, where a sprawling Houston kept putting the Danish based fighter in bad positions over 15 minutes.

Jessing however won’t be waiting for long to get as he got his co-main event fight announced already. He will fight Romain Bidet (0-1) from France at SOMMA on November 11th.

“I haven’t seen so much on him yet. Seems like he is pretty well rounded, but noticed some submission victories by him. I know the french are very tough. Strong mind. They don’t give in that easily. Fought frenchmen Alary in my 2nd pro fight. He was hard and tricky to break.” says Jessing about his new opponent.

The fighter that turned pro in 2015 is looking for positive outcome this time out.  “I’m going to focus on my own strenghts, and focus less on my opponents abilities. I’m a finisher with both knockout power and a submission game. I will look for the finish. And I will find the finish, and take him out.”
