Sweden-based Brazilian Rafael Macedo (8-3) will step back in the cage against Daguir Imavov (11-2-1) at Centurion Fight Championship in Malta on November 4th for the belt.

“I have been so busy with the Club that Me and my students opened in the beginning if this year, only had offers to fight in short notice, but finally I’m back to fight again, it will be a title fight, 5 rounds.” says the Butcher to MMA Viking.

The 31-year-old Macedo is coming off of a win over Finn Jerry Kvarnstrom at Fight Promotion Showdown: Goes Ruissalo last year in August.


“My opponent is good but I’m better, he never face anyone like me, I always been under dog, I don’t care about this, this is what always motivates me, I have time enough to be prepared for that fight, I begin my training camp at GBG MMA and now I’m taking about 4 weeks at Frontline Academy great atmosphere with high level guys, Jack Hermansson, Emil Valhalla Meek, Mohsen Bahari, Kenneth Bergh, Teta, Aristo and all of the team Frontline that make me feel like home, feeling awesome and looking forward to take that belt back to Sweden”

Imavov has won his last two fights with the Fight Exclusive Night promotion, including a win just a few weeks ago.  His only two losses are to well known names to Nordic MMA fans, including Dane Soren Bak and Estonian Ott Tonissaar. The fighter now trains in France out of Sausset FightTeam and once had a 7 fight win streak.
