Following-up on its inaugural event “The Beginning” last August, Vision Fighting Championship (VFC) has now finalized its card for its second effort on Saturday, March 19. The gala in Karlstad, Sweden, will feature a mix of both young fighters looking to make their name in Scandinavia and experienced fighters looking to take a step forward to a global promotion.  Fighters are representing Sweden, Finland, and Denmark.

One of the more high profile fights is Sweden’s Per Eklund against Norway’s Thomas Hytten in a rematch eight years in the making.  The former UFC fighter looks to resolve the previous fight with Hytten in 2003 at Shooto Finland which resulted in a draw.  The fight will also be a good indication of Eklund’s future success at the 66-kilogram weight class.

Magnus Cedenblad versus Mikkel Guldbaek could be another fight to watch, with the upcoming Swede meeting the experienced kick-boxer from Denmark.  The match-up will give insight into Cedenblad’s development in training in Las Vegas and London.  Expect fireworks here.
