Bjarki Omarsson (1-0) won his pro debut at FightStar Championship 13 at the Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre Location in London, England. It was no walk in the park for the Mjölnir fighter that battled for 15 minutes to get the split decision victory over a game Mehmosh Raza (5-2).

Omarsson showed a variety of effective strikes and spinning kicks early, but it was his quick double-leg takedown that got him in control of the first two rounds when needed.

Bjarki landed a few nice elbows to finish out a strong first frame.  The second however had the Icelandic fighter in trouble with the Pakistan born fighter getting on top and landing good punches on a tiring viking.

Omarsson was again in trouble in the last round as Raza got on top again and landed some good ground and pound.  The Mjolnir fighter however showed a lot of heard and got to his feet in the last minute and landed a few solid headkicks that may have made the difference.  Both fighters gave it their all and showed appreciation as the scorecards were read as a split decision in favor of Omarsson for his pro debut win.
