Finnish strawweight star Katja “Killer Bunny” Kankaanpää kept her undefeated record clean at Invicta 5 where she scored an unanimous decision over Brazilian Juliana Carnerio Lima. The Finn dominated the fight from bell to bell with relentless and technically superior grappling. In the second round Kankaanpää progressed to mount and went for a armbar but the Brazilian defended accordingly. Lima had few moments of offense of her own in the third but Kankaanpää run through them and pushed the pace till the end.

“I’m happy with the results but to be honest I’m not completely happy with the performance. I followed my game plan and it worked out. It would’ve been nice to finish the fight but the opponent was tough” commented Kankaanpää from Kansas City to our content partner FightSport.fi.

Last night win moves Kankaanpää to 8-0-1 overall and establishes her position as one of the very best strawweight women in the world.
