Former UFC fighter Anton Kuivanen is aiming to return to action in February at Cage 29. The Primus Fight Team fighter has been out of action since suffering a KO against Dakota Cochrane back in June. He announced first his intent to fight to YLE.fi.

The Finn is now 30 years old and looking for another run to get back to the UFC. The lightweight has an overall record of 20 wins and 8 losses. He has a record of 3 wins and 2 losses, since exciting the UFC in February of 2013.

Kuivanen was the first Finn to ever win in the Octagon, which he did against Mitch Clark at UFC 149.

“I’m ready” says the GB Gym fighter to MMAViking.com.  The Finn has been pushing through injuries this last year, while trying to make his way back to the UFC, but has taken time off to fully recover.
