Finn Glenn Sparv will headline Saturday’s Full Metal Dojo event in Phuket, Thailand. The bout will see Sparv take on the experienced American Joe Ray in the organization’s inaugural card.
Both fighters are now based in Asia, with Joe Ray now representing Tiger Muay Thai. The welterweight has a 10-3 overall record and is a Strikeforce veteran. Ray is on a 5 fight win streak, and most recently beat Ole Laursen by submission at October’s Dare card.
Sparv is the Cage champion, as he beat fellow Finn Kai Puolakka this February by majority decision to capture the belt. The Team Quest Thailand fighter has an overall record of 8 wins and 3 losses.
Full Metal Dojo will take place at Seduction Nightclub in Phuket, Thailand.
